Is This the Simplest Route from Building Design to Successful Delivery?

Complexity is the main reason that construction projects often take longer to finish or cost more than planned. It’s also what makes building performance frequently fall short of design specifications. There are too many decisions, variables and compromises made on the journey from design to delivery, with decisions not made until each stage is needed, making it a very fragmented process.

Is there a way to simplify that journey so that there is a straight and true line from the design and specification through to a finished building? We believe that creating buildings from an engineered kit of parts is the way to do this. A kit of parts entails assembling buildings from a small number of precision-engineered macro components, compared to thousands of microelements that are time-consuming and less precise to put together.

The Innovaré iSIP system eliminates variability and uncertainty by using an engineered kit of parts designed and engineered to meet the needs of each individual project. The kit includes everything needed to create the dry structure of the building: walls, floors, roofs and any additional structural elements needed.

Walls

External walls can be constructed from large or small format panels. The largest panels span up to six metres (typically a two storey height). iSIP panels have the strength and stability to form the structure of buildings up to four storeys high and can feature pre-cut apertures for doors and windows.

For taller structures, iSIP panels make the ideal infill or wrapping, sitting either inside or outside the steel or concrete frame. The thermal performance is engineered into the panels and virtually any type of cladding is possible.

Internal walls can be load bearing if needed and, again, the thermal and acoustic performance is integral to the panel, as delivered.

Floors

Installing floors is equally simple. The joists and deck are pre-assembled offsite to form cassettes. These deliver excellent acoustic performance from a thinner section and can be quickly installed. We also use pre-manufactured foundations made from precast concrete sections.

Roofs

Large panels are used to form pitched or flat roofs. Pitched roofs made using iSIP panels benefit from having an unobstructed roof space to offer greater design flexibility.

The kit of parts approach works so well because our in-house design team engages early with customers, architects, structural engineers and specialist M&E contractors to work through every detail during the design phase.

To provide maximum control over the entire process, panels and structural elements are precision made in our manufacturing facility and assembled on site by a small team of Innovaré installation specialists. It really is the simplest and most reliable route from design to completion. Contact us today on 0800 674 0020 to find out more.
