Large Format Infill Panels with Excellent Combustion Resistance

SIPs are now a tried and trusted infill solution for concrete and steel-framed buildings. The large format panels are easy to install and quickly create a weatherproof structure. This can be achieved one floor at a time to simplify the scheduling of fit-out works and M&E installation.

The inbuilt thermal performance and low thermal bridging losses also guarantee excellent insulation and energy efficiency performance. The panels achieve this without additional treatments and linings having to be applied on-site.

Fire Safety Performance

To improve on the excellent fire-resistance properties of standard panels, Innovaré developed and patented the award-winning i-FAST system. These panels have all the advantages of with the added benefit of enhanced combustion and flame propagation resistance. i-FAST panels are factory-filled with A1 rated stone wool. A staggered stud arrangement allows the stone wool to protect the stud in a fire scenario.

If protected from exposure to heat and oxygen, timber studs can withstand test conditions in excess of 90 minutes at temperatures over 1000°c.

Education and Residential Compliance

This new i-FAST panel provides a fully compliant offer for Education and Residential schemes with our own fire testing report evidence:

  • internal walls for 30/60/90 minutes
  • external walls for 30/60 minutes inside-to-out, offsite fire mitigation, render board for outside-to-in
  • floor cassettes to 60 minutes

The insulation and facing boards are both A1 non-combustible, with Class 0 surface spread of flame.
