The rebuilt Kings CE School opened in November 2016 with capacity for 900 pupils. The client needed the new school space urgently to meet growing demand for places and to replace tired and unsuitable accommodation. They needed a value for money solution that would meet strict energy efficiency and sustainability requirements. Ideally, the school wanted to involve students in the project to enrich their technology curriculum.
