Construction of the £10m Ysgol Newydd Corn Hir primary school on the outskirts of Llangefni, Anglesey, opened its doors to pupils in April 2022. The school provides the 250 pupils with the facilities and resources to include modern and well-equipped classrooms and suitable outdoor areas for play and learning.

The new school is designed specifically around the needs of the children that will be attending, and it will provide an outstanding educational setting. Careful consideration has been given to all aspects of the design process to help promote engagement, well-being, and achievement. Structural insulated panel external walls were used for the teaching wings.
