Innovaré Offsite Wins Education Project of the Year at the 2024 Structural Timber Awards.
Innovaré Offsite is proud to announce that we have been awarded Education Project of the Year at the 2024 Structural Timber Awards for our work on St. Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy—the UK’s first biophilic, net zero carbon school. This recognition celebrates the remarkable architectural achievements and engineering ingenuity involved in creating a groundbreaking, eco-conscious learning environment.
Pete Blunt, Managing Director of Innovaré Offsite, was present at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham to accept the prestigious award on behalf of the entire Innovaré team. The project highlights the future of sustainable education, blending natural design principles with cutting-edge construction techniques.
A Biophilic Design & Construction
The St. Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy is a testament to the power of collaboration. We were honored to partner with Tilbury Douglas, Hawkins\Brown, and the Department for Education (DfE) to bring this visionary project to life. Together, we created a space that prioritises both the well-being of students and the environment, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in modern education design.
This achievement underscores Innovaré’s commitment to sustainable, offsite construction solutions and innovative design that aligns with net zero carbon goals. We look forward to continuing to lead the way in creating healthy, sustainable, and inspiring spaces for future generations.
