Innovaré Offsite had the pleasure of presenting with the Department for Education at the Timber in Construction Summit in London
The Summit was the largest in-person gathering of industry members and was hosted by Andrew Carpenter CE of the Structural Timber Association Ltd and attended by Andy Leitch deputy CE at Confor: Confederation of Forest Industries (UK) and David Hopkins CE at Timber Development UK.
Our director, Gareth Ellison showcased Innovarés significant contribution to the UK’s first Biophilic School, St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy in Derby, highlighting the reasons why timber was chosen as the preferred construction material. At the event, Environment Minister Mary Creagh CBE MP reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Timber in Construction Roadmap. This initiative aims to strengthen the domestic timber industry while fostering economic growth, creating rural job opportunities, and meeting house building targets.
