Building works are progressing well and with first floor wall panels and roof being installed, the school is firmly on track to be completed in advance of the next academic year.
Forest Lodge Primary School is currently being rebuilt in partnership with Bowmer & Kirkland under the Primary School Building Project (PSBP). The school will be able to finally replace its “temporary” 1950s building, which leaks when it rains and staff complain is hot in summer and cold in the winter.
A brand new building built by Innovaré using their innovative i- SIP Structural Insulated Panel building system will ensure staff and pupils can be thermally comfortable throughout the year. It will also mean the school can accomodate more pupils.
The new School (as below) will open in September 2015.
